Types of Research Guides

Below, you'll find library guides to help students with individual classes and/or general research how-tos and tips, prepared by your friendly MHCC librarians.

subject guides Subject Guides: Online library guides to help students and faculty in various departments and subject areas.
Teaching icon Class Guides: Online library guides created by librarians to support the teaching and research needs of a specific course at the request of faculty. Browse for class guides by term or by instructor. Librarians also create library class guides for each library instruction session we teach.
Research icon Research How-Tos: General online how-to guides and library tutorials on how to use the library and its resources, as well as understanding the research process.
Reference icon Citation Style Guides: Resources and examples for how to create citations in multiple citation styles, including APA, MLA, and Chicago Style.
